Book Review: Write, Inspire, Create

Our home education journey is following the boys passions and embracing all the learning opportunitys these give us. At the moment L is very passionate about writing and illustrating his own story, a gripping tale about a young robot with lots of action in, so when we had the opportunity to review “Write, Inspire, Create” we were thrilled, a free book that fits in perfectly with our home ed journey, whats not to love.

The book is stunning, before even reading any of the activities we were impressed, it’s so well presented and so inviting to jump right in, small boxes and pretty pictures on each page, not a blank white looming page in site.

We were giving this book with a guide age of 7, L is 5 but passionate about writing stories and absolutely loves it, if however you are trying to ignite a passion not yet shown then 7 would probably be a better age, but this book has no upper age, any aspiring writing would benefit from the activities in this gorgeous book, I myself am using them to improve my writing and help me progress my own novel.

L loved making the press out dice that come with the book and coming up with random combos for stories with them.

This book truly is an inspiration for budding writers young and old, well done Parragon Books for publishing such beautiful and helpful book.

Thank you, he still finds writing by hand slow but does seem to have had a jump up recently in his neatness, I will pass on your comment as it will make his day.

      1. You’re very welcome – I have four boys and it’s hard sometimes to convince them that they need to practise handwriting, when they can speed type. I’m going to show them your post to give them some inspiration 🙂
